I left Taiwan in 1971 and rarely went back for visits. It was very nice to come across old Taiwanese songs when I started poking around the web. Songs like 思念故鄉, 關仔嶺之戀, 送出帆 are like old friends to get acquainted again. When this recording popped up, I started humming along before catching myself in surprise. I had no idea I knew this song. I am pretty sure I didn't hear it back then in 歌仔戲 or on radio. (TV didn't show up in our house until I was away in college.) Dredging up really old memories, I believe I must have heard it from some old folks in our neighborhood. Amazing how your mind can hold on to something dear without you being aware of it

"go5"指的是水車、石磨之類有軸的轉動。「琳瓏」形容那狀態­。

許多用字只是暫用，就別太計較了吧。
