  • As far as I'm concerned, I find it quite unusual. The text reminds me of Sergio Endrigo's ''Via Broletto 34''. Also, the melancholic atmosphere and even the voice of Serge Reggiani here evoke Endrigo. You know Endrigo has been called ''Il cantante triste''; about Reggiani, critics used to say that he was an excellent singer, but he brought bad luck... And, nonetheless, what a pleasure to listen to both of them...

  • Part V:

    Emmenez-moi

    Ne m'abandonnez pas

Je veux mordre au bon pain de la joie

    On reste en plan

    Et l'amour fiche le camp

En tournant sur un air de manège

On reste là et l'on ne comprend pas

Et l'on pleure une vie qui s'en va...

  • t belle chan.......................

  • Magnifique Boris Vian !

  • Perhaps some people found this inappropriate. Or just couldn't make a distinction between melancholy and bad luck, or between lyrics, which needn't be true, and real life. On the contrary, I really appreciate his emotional involvement, which was genuine in each and every song he used to say, despite his being an actor, too. Not to speak about his voice...

  • Yes, Endrigo's voice is very nostalgic; but, what a terrible thing to say about Reggiani! He put such emotion in everything he sang!

Thanks for sending this to me, Melania!

All in all, it reminds me of "Comme d'habitude!"

All becomes a bit "cotidien" for some!

  • I couldn't agree more...

If I'm not wrong, this song appeared on Reggiani's first album, ''Serge Reggiani chante Boris Vian'', released in 1964. It was quite a late start, since he was 42 at the time, but what a start this was!... And what an ARTIST !...
