Northwestern Human Sexuality Demo Report on Chicago Tonight WTTW Part 1 (Captioned & HD)

This WTTW report on the situation is still the only interview on TV or in Newspapers that honestly tried to be as fair and complete in its reporting by not omitting distinctions in details... that missing, would cause the story to become misleading. Unfortunately, nearly everything the Mainstream Media has done since this interview is take many statements out of context and obfuscate the situation with personal biases that only serve to create a controversy.

It needs to be repeated that out of ALL OF THE STUDENTS WHO REMAINED for the OPTIONAL Q&A and eventual Demo after class: NOT ONE has complained.

As of March 7th, only two students (who WERE NOT in the class) complained and NO PARENTS have come forward to complain. The Sun Times has shamefully compared this incident to the Kent State Shootings... so apparently having a sexual demonstration within context of the topic for that day's class is equivalent to murder.

@nameless212 No matter the purpose, or the expose, when one takes that which is taboo and throws it towards the masses, the social standard will always prevail. After all, nobody wants to appear as a freak to their peers, so the question that aches in my mind, is how many of these people that scoffed at this public have performed these same acts behind closed doors, and do those minds and souls truly have the right to say what's right or what's wrong? Do any of us really have that right?

@nameless212 Although I disagree that the nature of the demonstration was inappropriate, I certainly have to agree that this situation would have been far more scrutinized had it been a man. Furthermore I'd like to add that it's a sad state of affairs that the sex of the 'demonstrator' would weigh so greatly on how we as a people view this whole event. It really becomes a social issue when one takes what normally is a private activity and brings it in front of the public eye.
