Charanam - Beauty of Diversity (cut) Short Film - Pitchappan BITS Goa - Fame in 60 seconds

On Keyboard: Pitchappan, Gary, Tabla: Arun Augustine, Flute: Madhusudan, Camera: ucsandeep. A short film (cut down). There are 3 characters - a painter(dumb), a flautist(deaf) and a music lover/listener(blind). Painter wants to express her feelings but cant sing, so she paints. Listener wants to know her feelings but he cant see, so the flautist transforms the painters feelings from the painting into a song that the listener can listen and enjoy and in the end the listener tells the flautist that the painting was gr8, the flautist communicates back to the painter that the listener has received her message and the painter writes back that his was a gr8 composition too. Its the beauty of diversity. Actors, Musicians, Editing, Mixing, Videography - BITS Goa students. Fully picturised in BITS Goa, this was an entry for a competition called 60 Seconds to Fame in Chennai, judged by film director Mani Ratnam.

It was the concept of some of my talented juniors for the entry into 60 seconds to game at chennai for the topic Beauty of Diversity. I don't remember who held the camera. The blind guy is arun augustine(who played tabla for this), painter is really a painter in our college kala arts club, flautist on screen is really a flautist madhusudhan from my college. I played the piano off screen for its music in the latter part..
