Thom Yorke makes his second appearance at Low End Theory on May 4, 2011. This time he goes back-to-back with Flying Lotus on the decks, and ultimately ends up grabbing the mic and singing a few verses. Totally unexpected and completely awesome. Sorry the audio isn't better -- it was louder than hell on the stage.

Jazz inspiration on Radiohead came from mostly three giants: Mingus, Miles and less known, Alice Coltrane whose compositions inspired the use of orchestra (which continues today in Bloom). Alice was John's wife of course. She was also FlyLo's (great?) auntie. He credits growing up around her with his vision of music. FlyLo came out of underground hip hop and Thom out of alt rock, but they are spiritual bros, electro-jazz cats. Thom and FlyLo even share a bday, October 7, Thom in '68, FlyLo '83.
