TIME Magazine "The Sawyer Song: Lost Parody"

TIME Magazine featured this video on their webiste. Yay! I'm so grateful for the recognition!

This is supposed to be reminiscent of The Cloud Song, so if anyone is like "You can't sing!" we really can sing very well and play the piano better, but if you see The Cloud Song, you'll get it.

We thought we'd do a parody focusing some key things on Lost: Jack's ever present need to cry, Sawyer's random loss of shirts, Hurley's love and fear of food, and rabid fan girls.

I did the animation in Flash Macromedia 8. I had some major problems when exporting this. The Quicktime would not work no matter what I did. I had to go with the avi and after I compressed it, it ended up like this. I've been trying to get it up for the past 3 days and this was the best I could get it, and I'm baffled why. For the sake of my sanity, you have to simply deal with the few glitches.

But all and all, I really like the movie. Hope you enjoy.

@Lyramon Kate and Sawyer had sex in the cages and we don't know what happened after they got off the island. Jack died there, but Kate and Sawyer got to go home.

@thegorgeousgeeks So sex means that they're together? And the creators of Lost made it very clear that Kate would choose either Sawyer or Jack...and the last episode made it very obvious whom she chose.

@Lyramon The problem with Kate paired with anyone is that Kate was always selfish. I would say she was with the both of them. She always looked out for herself. Even when she claimed to have killed her dad to take care of her mom, she really did it for herself. Sawyer took himself out of the equation when he jumped off the helicopter and then he fell in love with Juliet, and I was just happy to see him happy. She never said "I love you" to Jack until the finale, which was messed up to me.

Ugghhh. I loved Sawyer. But his love (or whatever) for Kate took away some of his coolness. Seriously, I always felt Sawyer was way too good for Kate. Hell, in my opinion NOBODY is good enough for Sawyer. He needs a woman that is equally as snarky and feisty as he is. Somebody that can talk shit with the best of them and verbally put him in his place when the situation calls for it. Sawyer does have a tendency to get uppity sometimes. I never liked Jack or Kate very much at all.

@thegorgeousgeeks I think I'm doing a bad job of explaining myself, though. I think Sawyer is one of the best characters and he's one of my personal favorites. He's funny, charming, etc., and I think he's great with Juliet. But...I just have a huge problem with the Sawyer/Kate pairing. I don't know why. I just do.
