@blkbeltmage Thanks very much. I appreciate it. As to your questions, no I don't play mandolin (it's one of those "hard" instruments), and I WILL make some more videos at some point. I know I'm well overdue.

Thanks, Oniweeki. To sync the audio, you need some type of multitrack recorder or software. The video camera records the picture, but you feed the audio to the multitrack recorder. For each new track, you are listening to and playing along with the tracks you've already recorded.
