Alison Krauss and Robert Plant Duet for Raising Sand

Robert was one of only a few really great voices of Rock'n Roll in those days, in my opnion only Roger Daltrey came close. Not just a matter of wide register, but also what they sang (lyrichs) and how(style, decens and relevance or maybe politichs) Both of the mentioned did lots of live performances and put so much strain on their voices that they allmost ruined it, and resulted in the many pure results you hear on live-tracks. But when at their best; Both were second to None!

Robert Plant is a god among men. Your ears are hurting because you're not manly enough to listen to his voice.

LedZ, your wrong, I think he was great 35 years ago, now his time has past and he should know to give it up.
I f he wants to do nursery rhymes for a children's video I'm fine with it.
But do not try to convince me that he is some kind of serious singing talent any More because I can assure you he is not.

Just because he's not the 70's Robert Plant making orgasms for your ears doesn't mean he can't sing any more. He just sings different;y because of the change of his voice from age and I'm assuming his drug use also affected it. He still kicks ass, just in a different way and style than his old self. He may not be in every ones wet dreams any more but he's still Robert Plant and he always has and always will kick more ass than any other singer.

He is a serious vocal talent. Thats a fact, not opinion.
