Case Mod - Extreme air cooling - XP2500+ @ XP3600+ speed

My old modded PC. Finished midnight 19th January 2007. Well apart from a new front I'm working on.

I hacked down an acrylic case so that its the smallest possible size to fit in all the components.

Planned using google sketchup first.

The thing im most happy about is the spec. Its got a Nvidia 6800GT graphics card and the XP2500+ is running at XP3600+ speeds ON AIR COOLING :O thats nearly 2.4Ghz.
and its not actually that noisy. The EXTREMELY noisy and powerful 120mm Delta fan has been connected up so it runs at 7v instead of 12v. I'm sitting about 3 metres back from the PC and I've got a nice cool breeze coming from it, and much less noise!

The stealthed drive is a 16 speed DVD+-Rewriter.

I've just tested it all night with Prime95 doing a torture test and at the same time running 3dMark2005 on a loop and no errors, max temp 52 degrees C :D

Not quiet complete yet I'm working on a different front using the original plexi and the mesh.

The new one haz moar cores and oc'ed from 2010mhz to 2600mhz muhahah

This computer was build on the 19th of January, 2007. There was no GeForce 8-series to speak of back then, you ignorant dolt.

I had a 1.9Ghz Athlon XP that bottlenecked a GeForce 6800GS, I'd shudder to think of the bottlenecking from a 8800GT.

I see why you need all your fans! Your case is filled up with allot of things, squeesed togheter like a sandwish! But it's awsome!!!
