@MicMogul The station's turning 45 in 2010, Ten will make a excuse about not celebrating. Just like in 2008, for the 0-10 switch 20th anniversary, and 20th anniversary of Expo 88.

@MicMogul You really would think with TEN being a listed company, balance sheet & profit results looking much better than the early 90's that the hard times were over and being so, it is now time to resume local weekend news bulletins. A full 30 mins at least and a local Sports Tonight on Sat & Sun at 5:30 including a panel segment and full coverage of local sport that used to be done by Bris TV stations would not be too much of an ask. (it'd be a good competitor to the other's 6 pm lead-ins)

This'd be a TVQ Christmas tape? You'd have to laugh about all the bad management moves or you'd have been crying for a very long time at that stage.
The 5pm Bris news hour is a well done production for what it aims to do, but it is a consolidation of what could be done, Brisbane deserves much more than 5hrs/wk of local production out of 10.
