They didn't lie, technically. They was planning on it, ABC cancelled it when it had the chance to get The Edge of Night, which was originally expected to move in 1976.

No, the last aired ep. was the other '75 show that's been floating around (the one w/Bob Ridgeley, Conny Van Dyke, et al).

At the time, "YOU DON'T SAY!" was on ABC at 4pm(et) through most of 1975, and I definitely remember this version as well as the original one Ralph Andrews produced in the '60s.....

Yeah, the 60s' episodes with just two celeb/player teams worked better. Those score readouts on the contestant are pretty unique though.

So that Kid's Christmas week apparently scared the network off, eh? Poor Tom Kennedy left looking like a fool for announcing it.
Truth is, I kinda don't like this game. It's a bit lame. I mean those celebs have to talk a lot, and at least in this epi what they are saying isn't very interesting.
