  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY STAN. 91 YEARS YOUNG TODAY. I WAS AT HIS LAST HOME

GAME, STILL HAVE THE PROGRAM AND PICTURE THAT WAS GIVEN OUT THAT

DAY. THANKS FOR SO MANY LONG LASTING GOOD MEMORIES FROM THOSE

    DAYS.

  • I have been following the Cards since 1954 when I was 9 years old. I am 66 now. I saw Musial many times and he never disappointed. He was all they said he was. My dad often went to Stan and Biggies (a restaurant) after games and Stan would always show up and table hop. He eventually knew my name. Once before game I was with friends and said hi to him on the field. He said hi and addressed me by name. I never forgot it. You could have knocked my friends over with a feather.

  • Stan is the MAN...even Albert Puhols attests to that ..LONG LIVE STAN THE MAN!!

  • Happy 90th Birthday to Stan the Man great player and great person beloved by many

  • @magos369 That's right...1963..we won like 20 of 21 games in Sept and had a great shot at the pennant. My 1st year as a Card fan. And I still remember Stan's last AB. A dbl. in the 9th.

Did you know? That Stan's phone number was in the ph. book until the 60's? That tells us something about what kind of man he was.

He will be missed. And to the guy who said AP is passing him, he won't in hits, dbls, triples, stolen bases runs scored or class.

  • Jack Buck and Stan Musial: 2 baseball greats.
