Nice lithograph. Can this be dun to cast iron? I ask because I'm conspiring a beautiful stirling engine.

IS IT HARD TO ENGRAVE ON CYLINDERS
-
I usually brush the burs off with my tongue...I love the taste of China White in the morning!!!
-
where can we get a kit like that for how much
-
im interested in this in graving where can i get tools
-
That's impressive. Are there "starter" engraving kits available for beginners? Also, that fixture looks interesting. Custom made?

Good job! I wouldn't brush that piece off without a glove on though. Burrs are a son of a gun :)

Farce....
If the cast Iron is of good quality...no casting fisuers...it can be engraved. Cast iron is fairly
soft so it should not be hard to cut.

Not to hard to engrave on cylinders....of course, that depends on the diameter....larger, easier
smaller, harder. Thanks to both of you for asking.

Your probably right USTA...
Not a good idea. I don't get cut often...but sometimes I do....and gladly, most of the time not to bad. Chain-mail might be better than a glove.
