heli buddy Thanh giving me tips on setting my new EXI 450 up. i watched the whole series in MikeysRC under "Cheapest Trex 450 clone helicopter build" before deciding on getting this particular model. I do believe it's the best helicopter for the price!

  • Righton Ken! Seems like u can fly Helicopters to :)

    Good job man!

    Jacques

  • Ey Jacques, thanks for the comment. It's not made of foam and it doesn't fly over 100 MPH, but I have always been fascinated with heli's because I can fly it right out of my front lawn.

  • Very Nice. Looks like she is flying well.

  • it's now running on my new transmitter so the headhold is finally working. i credit your how to video series for getting her to fly well on the maiden run.

  • Cool Heli Ken! I want to get one too one of these days. Looks like a lot of fun. Jon had a heli out at Hermann airport this weekend, he's trying to learn how to fly it. Anyway, cool video and heli! 5-stars.

    Paul

  • Paul, i was sooooo into heli's only until i started watching your's and Franks videos and you guys are the ones that got me into parkjets. wouldn't it be funny now if I got you guys into heli's? now here's a thought.... a heli in either your's or Franks hands will probably do at least 115 mph after your usual "FoamFighter" setup/modification. LOL!!!

  • looks good ken...and wow what a good price.. well worth cutting the lawn with...lol....

  • SEBratt, watch all my videos (50+ of them) to see how well this transmitter works, especially the "rcFF CA updates Jan 2010 & FF-23" video. i don't use any onboard mixers (because i'm too cheap to buy them) so all of the programming was from this transmitter. if it wasn't for me wanting to learn 3D heli stuff, i would just keep it, but i'm also expanding to more complex parkjet setups that need more channels. i will PM you more details

  • 6ch would be perfect. I would actually be using it for airplanes for now and possibly a basic heli later. But the heli would be down the road a bit. It would still be good for planes right?
