BJ And The Bear Ownby Trucking Style

It's obvious where Ownby Trucking of Carpinteria, CA. got their inspiration for this truck and it's paint sceme. My own personal opinion is that this is even better looking than the one on BJ And The Bear. I like that this 1982 Kenworth K-100 VIT AeroDyne is running a long wheelbase and that the 53' Utiliy 3000R refer has a spread axle setup. It's combining the old school looks of the 70's and the more generous lenghts allowed today. A really nice rig and trailer combo. Seen at the 2011 Truckin' For Kids Truck Show at the Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, CA. on 9-25-11.
