Badass dually Cummins turbo diesel truck running 12.9 vs a black Subaru Sti running 12.5 during Kilkare drag strip test and tune 4-21-11. This is an 11 second diesel truck check out my channel and SUBSCRIBE if you like turbo diesel trucks drag racing I have hundreds of diesel races on my channel!
@filmftw3 Cummins sells engines to everyone cuz they are the best engine in the world. When my marine cummins had a clogged filter on a trip to the Bahamas I only had to go one boat over to borrow a new one. Everyone carries their parts which makes owning one (or three) a plus. How many Americans were killed by Russians? Only 10% of American pow's survived in Japanese prison camps. Those are some nasty little bastards. Drive their crap all you want. 75% of ww2 vets drive domestic cars.
@REXONATER70 well considering i wont be able to drive in one yet but i will in the future but really i take your word for it those diesels are great but, what i like is a car and dont like trucks all that much. trucks are cool to me but when it comes down to racing i always choose a car over a truck to drive. you said many high powered muscle cars but i know other non muscle cars are good and better but really my point is for me is a CAR > a TRUCK IMO.
@oop531 oop531 good to hear from you. I'm sure there are a few cars out there that last. I bet if you do a compression test on your "friends" car you will see they are considerabley down on power. When my parents met my dad had a 69 L-88 vette and moms had a 67 camaro 327ss. I've owned "not friends" many high powered muscle cars and ragged those silly bastards out. All I'm saying is go for a ride in a tuned up diesel and you will be born again. If you have a "friend" who has one. luv u.
@REXONATER70 i do know that for a fact there are cars out that do last long even if you go hard on em, my buddy had a 01 SVT before he got a 03 Vette Z06 and both cars ran very quick and he has as of now i think almost 180k miles on both. i know your point that these diesels are strong and can last for a long time cause they are built to be tough and i agree. my point really is cars are better in so many ways but diesel is also good in its ways too,but to me i choose a car over a diesel any day
@oop531 Hey I thought we were talking about drag racing? Point is taken, Small is Small and that seems to be the logic in alot of the car guys thinking. I've got over 600 passes at the track in my day in my Stang and Camaro. I've had to build each motor over again twice. My truck has 170,000 miles since I bought it new. It runs stronger each time I add something to it and holds the power. Gas motors get sick fast. I switched to diesel and will stay. Maybe you should ride in one before u judge?
@REXONATER70 ok ya truck can be tuned to be fast but ya, ANY CAR OR TRUCK CAN BE MADE TO BE FAST. you can take a heavy ass truck with a BIG engine with LOTS of power and race a SMALL car with a SMALL engine with LITTLE power and the car could win. im a pontiac and chevy guy so i like all those cars but really that truck weights alot yes but its power KILLS THE WEIGHT. ALSO LETS SEE YOU TAKE A TRUCK TO A TRACK and race a TRACK CAR the first corner comes your truck will flip over.
You can smell that truck a mile away

@REXONATER70
Cummins is a traitor company. They build engines for Russian military trucks. Haven't heard that?
