Keiser Report guest Steve Keen gives his views on the rape the governments and banks are performing on the little people.

One point I do not agree with the guest, is right at the end, where he says the public sector should have a stimulus, in the UK after 13 years of bankrupting Labour government, the public sector has had far too much, with record breaking £4trillion deficit. The rape of the private sector continues to pay for the out of control public sector..

Recorded from Russia Today, Keiser Report, 23 June 2011.

  • A monetarist/populist video answering Keen's proposal as discussed with Max Keiser - including flow diagrams showing the real effect of what he proposes. Paste the following in you YouTube browser to see it: WkdEHRpmG4k You will be amazed at what Keen tricked you into giving assent to by covering his wolf by dressing it as Mary's little lamb.

  • - People have to realize that politicians want to get into power.. but just because someone gets into a position of power does not mean that they have the means to help there country when it comes to making wise decisions .. example the economy .. you have to vote for people that have the wisdom and not those that have a mercurial mouth and a bent on getting into power...

  • Fuck me liarpolititcians there's hope for you yet. Did you take notes btw? I'll recap for you:

    1. Government debt abated & transferred the crisis, it DID NOT create it.

    2. Deflation is the problem we're facing not inflation.

    3. Little 'common sense' peasant witticisms/platitudes are not helpful, i.e comparing the public finances to that of a household, comparing us to Greece & lastly 'shared sacrifice' (the poor eating less so they can empathise with the rich) is not a virtue.

    Guardianista :)

  • Excellent

  • ok great, but how do you increase wages? is he talking about just govt employees? that means govt has to borrow more. this is unsustainable in the current system. some sort of reset is needed
