The 'Bone Ultimatum is a band of nine young musicians. Six of them play trombones and they are accompanied by keyboards, drums and bass.
As a lover of "good music" in all its forms it is uplifting to see these young people's enthusiasm and to hear their musical talents. The Montreal jazz scene "lives."

During the closing set at The Monterey International Pop Festival on Sunday,June 18,1967,Mama Cass had given Mama Michelle Hendrix's guitar pick to "expose her to some culture".

Here, in this showcase, presented to us on December 1,2009,we are privy to a taste of culture by way of these exceptional young performers. There is indeed hope for the future. Thanks for documenting and sharing this with us.
