All the software in this video is legally free, however, not all of the content on youtube is available for ripping for free. I suggest you send the channel who posted the video with the content you are trying to get a PM asking if it's alright for you to use their material in your own works. And I shouldn't have used an AC/DC song as a demo for the free youtube audio downloader as AC/DC still own full rights to the song.

When I first started out making amature films, I had no idea where to acquire all my sound effects and visual effects from. And then at a few points in time, I wanted to get some video recordings straight from my monitor(without using my video camera which looks absolutely terrible when used to record your monitor).

Over the years I've managed to get my hands on some good free programs; but the reason why I made this video is because of the comments in a lot of videos I watch saying about how would they be able get their hands on the audio or visual found in some videos.

So I went ahead and made another How To video, with clear (I hope) step by step instructions on where to get all the programs that I use to acquire nearly all my effects, with step by step instructions on how to use them.

You'll need audio/video editing software and then just import the SFX or VFX into the editing software. There's plenty of options and your computer even comes with basic editing software (Windows Movie Maker or iMovie, depending on your operating system). There are also more advanced options such as Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, that do a fantastic job at handling video and audio.

Not quite sure what you mean here.

The video and audio software you download is used to rip the video and audio from youtube videos. I suggest contacting the owner of the video if possible first to make sure that it's alright with them. Also ripping copyrighted music is still illegal so I can't condone that :P
