ON Handgame Team

Oyate Naysh put together a Handgame Team on campus at the Institute of American Indian Arts ~ Santa Fe, NM for the 2009-2010 school year. Our goal is to compete and place in the 2010 AIHEC Handgames Tournament in Phoenix, AZ this coming March.

We in the O.N. are very confident in our current team! They are dedicated and ready to win!

These are highlights from their first official practice in mid- October.

They were practicing different styles this night. I think they mostly ended up doing Cheyenne Style. They were learning what tournament play was like as well, the younger ones. We have Donna Hall on our team... she's amazing, real strong player. (at 1:29) Anyway, she was the one leading the learning process, lol
