If you were born in Boston then moved to Southern California and then moved back to Massachusetts and then back and forth between California and Massachusetts but graduated high school in Westport, Massachusetts and then stayed there until you were 25 and formed the best band in the world in Boston then are you a Bay Stater (Massachusettsan) or Californian?
