"Paper Doll" (Cover)

My take on a 1943 recording by the Mills Brothers. I went through a period of listening to a lot of big-band stuff, and developed a genuine appreciation for music from that era. I tried to emulate the way Norman Brown, the Mills Brothers' talented guitarist, played this piece.

Recorded on a Boss BR-600 using a guitar, a bass, and three vocal parts. All parts were played and sung by yours truly. It's in the key of F. Feel free to sing along.

Nice version. I've seen the guitarist for the mills in one of the clips on youtube do a nice run at "I've just quarreled with Sue", I think it goes either: F Eb7 F7 Eb7 D7, or F Eb7 Aº7 Eb7 D7.
