Youth of Today reunion performance at the Mohawk Club during the Chaos in Tejas festival. Amazing show... I shot it with my son's Flip Ultra. There are some songs that are only portions of the song because I kept getting hit by those rowdy stage divers. :)

It had been almost 24 years since I last saw Youth of Today. Brian and Mike from Intent were at the show, kids from back in the day were there. It was so awesome seeing so many people from Austin, Houston, San Antonio and beyond. More vids to come.

  • Did they play Time to Forgive? How about Disengage? Break Down the Walls? Damn I can't believe I missed this. I remember when Brian from Intent got to sub on guitar for some Shelter shows back around '90 or '91 .....lucky dog.

I bet my friend Roger was looking down on that show.....Roger Brown......RIP.......we'll never forget you ...Skins till the end!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Trey73 I knew Roger too. I used to play in RTF and we toured with Intent. Great guy. One of the very few I knew that was into hardcore and punk and dug the sounds of the Geto Boys and NWA.

  • middle aged men of today

  • They're so bad....

  • @danboy3737 We always gave him shit for listening to that crap. Oh well, Nobodys perfect. Ha Ha. RIP brother.

  • @GillMann It sure looks like him. I haven't seen him since he got back from touring with Shelter. Those were the good old days. Roger was a great person. I'll never forget how sad his funeral was. I hope people don't forget him. RIP brother.

  • @Trey73 I was 16 and the drummer in the band 4 Violent People.... we played MANY a show with Intent (still have my defective "Yellow Logo" shirt) and I remember Brian and Roger pulling some sort of pop quiz on me about YOT cause I was wearing a YOT shirt. Did I know who Ray was... what about Shelter... who was the first drummer... whatever....

Um.... is that Brian in the black shirt at 7:13?

  • wow what a show

  • HOW IN THE HELL DID I NOT FIND OUT ABOUT THIS UNTIL 3 DAYS TOO LATE???? I want to drive a samurai sword through my chest right now. I am 38 and have been a fan since the first album was available via mailorder thru zines back then. I have everything on vinyl ,. the 7"s and was also a Shelter fan all the way through up until "The Power and the Passion", at which point I completely lost interest.................

  • what a killer show! Nice footage! They killed it! So much fun. Back to work today but I have my new YOT shirt on underneath my work shirt!
