The current residents of the feline leukemia room at rapsociety.com/ are some of the sweetest kitties ever.
The fact that they have feline leukemia could make me feel apathetic but they won't allow it.
Both Mandy and Tinchy have pulled me up when I was at my downest with their sweet loving ways.
These cats deserve the best I can give them, I love them all.

  • Rest in peace Socks.. I lost you.. you left me too soon..

    I'll never be the same..

  • @TheJewelKitten my heart goes out to you. Treasure your kittie's memory.

  • How can you tell that they have feline Leukemia? They look like a bunch of normal cats to me.

  • @checkers1245 all these kitties have tested positive for feline leukemia via blood tests, there really isn't any way to tell a kitty has feline leukemia just by looking at them.

  • I have an absolutely adorable kitten with feline leukemia. You cannot tell that he is sick AT ALL. He is playful and cuddly and the best kitten I could ever ask for. I am giving him organic food which is an additional cost, and will have yearly vet visits, but other than that, I do not plan on having to spend extra money on him than a typical cat. He will tell me when it's his time but I will cherish every minute I have with him while he's healthy and happy!

  • @wunderbeast I haven't spent to much money on my FeLV kitty, he has AIDS also. The only time I've spent a lot was when he had a bad URI which wasn't related to the FeLV. My kitty is on Holistic medication to boost his immune system, the medication aren't a lot. You can't tell he's sick. You just have to be careful not to stress them. They don't need anymore attention than a cat without the Virus. Just message me on here since I'm limited on what I can type.

  • @TricaPLeeAnn i was wondering if you can help me out. i'm thinking of adopting a 5 year old scottish fold with FeLV and from what the shelter tells me, you wouldn't be able to tell that she's sick...yet. i understand that eventually i'll end up in heartbreak but will it be difficult to care for them in terms of how much time/money i have to put into the disease as well as whether or not it will disrupt my lifestyle (taking off from work, being waken in the middle of the night) thanks.

  • oh what lucky cats to have found you! I'm so glad kitties like these can have a safe home! I have a kitty with FeLV and he's so precious.
