North Koreans are raised, from very early childhood, to have a fanatical allegiance to the current dictator of North Korea. They are taught over and over and over again throughout their time in school that the North Korean leader is their greatest, most loving father, and is the best kind of national leader. Also, if North Korean government officials discover that any particular North Korean citizen does not fanatically love the "Great Father", that citizen could be thrown into prison.
