From Wikipedia: "Cry" is a single by Godley & Creme released in 1985. The song reached number 16 on the Billboard charts.
The duo also directed the song's music video, which featured faces blended into each other using analog cross-fading[1], anticipating the digital effect of morphing used in a very similar way in Michael Jackson's 1991 video, "Black Or White".
The song was also used by the television show Miami Vice in the episode "Definitely Miami" (1986).
The song was given a different structure by Australian singer Lisa Edwards in 1993, becoming a Top 5 hit and Canadian band The Philosopher Kings covered the song on their 1997 album Famous, Rich and Beautiful.

Wow, this is an EXTREMELY rare version of this track. I'd love to get it in high quality somewhere. The best I've managed to find is the 6:29 remix which is not quite as good.
I love how they worked 10cc's "I'm not in love" into the song by playing the "Big boys don't cry" snippet at the beginning. It works really well, especially considering Godley & Creme were part of 10cc.
I love this song, makes me want to go back to the eighties, and do a few things different, and right some wrongs I made in my life, and take back some things I said,,,,,but thats life.
