Creating a very very simple square-wave synthesizer in puredata is way to play ancient computer games music. Just find a polyphonic MIDI with the music from game you like, and play it in any sequencer (Rosegarden on this video). Here it plays Indiana Jones theme, similar to the one from "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade" by Lucasart. In my opinion, it reflects the original style of PC-beeper music very well:) I am very sorry for poor video-audio sync, my pc was just too slow. Anyway, enjoy.
@bornfordeath55 Take it for free!
I've uploaded this patch to
It's exactly the same one that I used on this video, it's only a bit modified so that you won't need any of my external abstract patches. Have fun! :)

@bornfordeath55 Depends on how much you can! :) Basically, a square-shaped wave form will work. That's the sound of the Beeper! Set up any synthesizer to output a pure, not filtered square wave, with a simple envelope (a rectangular one is enough!) and that's all! :)
