@IICAVEM4NII About 2% of Avoca's residents were against it. So when you say "We" You mean the handful of adults, the rest of the No Ship Action Group were kids, forced into it by parents.

First pictures taken on the wreck today. What a great dive site it already is. I'd love to see it before it gets covered with sea life, but I won't get the chance. I can't wait to dive on this.

@IICAVEM4NII, first off, learn to spell. Once you've mastered reading and writing do some research and you'll see how great for the environment a sunken ship is.

Can't wait to dive on this, think beyond the square you people that think it is a bad thing. This will bring tourism to the area, creating jobs for the local community. We would have loved for the Adelaide to be sunk off Mabourbra/ Cronulla. Artificial reefs are a wonderful thing.........anyone dived in Truk lagoon knows where I'm coming from
