@KillBBQ It's a bittersweet ending.
-
@elijahyamauchi They ended up with Demons to fight. But on the bright side, none of those girls had to end up transforming into creatures of misery.
-
@RoboWatchgirl didn't they have something worse then a Witch in the end for a new power source since the din not have Witch's to use. or was that only in the manga?
-
I had this reaction to the end of Madoka magica.... episode 3
-
yup. the pony.
-
@tomimn2233 I know right?
IF THAT IS YOU SPEAK OF THE PONY NOT THE WITCH...
-
@KillBBQ let's not forget that the Magical girls still die.
-
it should be also noted that after witches disappeared, there came aliens, another threat which magical girls had to face.
-
my observation:
after looking at many Octavia fan arts...I conclude that she looks A LOT like Homura Akemi.
It didn't come to nothing. Because of Homura coming to save her Madoka knew how to make the world a better place. She made it so no Puella Magi ever had to become a Witch. She created their new heaven. Madoka saved them all. And Homura helped.
I think it's a Happy ending.

@RoboWatchgirl Not a happy ending for three reasons:
- A girl was sacrificed to save others (No, Madoka is not God, no matter what someone tells me)
- No one remembers what happened (except Homura), so it's like it never happened.
- A whole universe is destroyed. Did not you notice when she defeated the "witch planet"? Behind them reset a WHOLE NEW UNIVERSE.
All very similar to Serial Experiments Lain
