de tous les chanteurs que j'ai vu/entendu se produire avec Pavarotti, celui-ci s'en sort plutôt bien je trouve ! Félicitations, Ian Gillian, je vous ai admiré lorsque j'avais 15 ans et aujourd'hui, même si mes goûts musicaux ont changé, je vois que ce n'était pas du pipeau et que vous avez une réelle technique vocale, belle prestation =) . You do realize that his name isn't Deep Purple right? Deep Purple was the greatest rock band in the world (imo mind you) and the name of the singer is Ian Gillan. It's like saying Metallica is the singer of Metallica and not James Hetfield. Fuck me, you're such idiots... Also, if you can be bothered, look up Deep Purple - Child in Time and listen to it all the way through. You see, he used to be able to sing. I agree with this combo though, Nessun Dorma is not fit for anyone except a tenor.

Pavarotti picked Gillan to sing this together. And thoug his voice is not at its best I think Gillan was amazing. He stood there next to Pavarotti with the RIGHT ATTITUDE and sung with his heart! After this pavarotti said " Obviously he is (Gillan) a GENIOUS"
