It was velcroed on but with the added weight from the shotshell caddies and the pistol mag. It was too heavy. They usually have a little loop to put around the parts that meet but I didn't have it. I was using zip ties on the other stages with no problem but forgot to use one for that stage. You can bet I'll never forget again.
