real s4? which one would you consider a "real" s4? b5? b6? b7 or even the new b8? look into the old 2.2's, and be careful what you call "garbage". my 2.7 is decent right now but i can honestly say that the 2.2's are brutal motors. even now i think before i mess with a built AAN. dont dog on the elders.

With 2turbos manufactures tend2 use 2smaller units rather than 1large turbo. This simply means the small turbos take less time2 spool up, thus less lag. Such as with the twin turbo 2.8 ford cologne engine built by 'Turbo technics' in the ford sierra.

BOOST & 'volumetric efficiency' is what makes more power. NOT how many turbos you have

.....so successful is the I5 2.2 that audi are bringing it back to life in the new TT with a 2.4L displacement - this is not new - those with real audi knowledge would know that we have been strapping the bottom end of 2.5 TDI engines to the top end of I5's resulting in an almost instant displacement of 2.5L enabling rapid expansion of power starting in the 500bhp range with scope to take it well over 1000bhp.

What a novice you are. The 2.2 I5 is one of the sickest engines ever built. Your 6 cyl twin turbo only has like 20 more horsepower than a stock 2.2 single turbo engine. These engines are capable of 1500 hp and the sound is pure sex. Most real audi people would trade their b5 for a urs4 any day.
