It's hot outside, very very hot, so Harbor and I played with the hose for a while. Harbor, unlike many animals, LOVES being sprayed with the hose. He likes the "shower" setting best, but is also fond of "mist" and "center". (song is "Celebrate" by Jetta and the Jellybeans)

@maryellenks Hi -- I am now a Harbor Fan!!! It's so awesome to see him this happy & joyful! I have had 3 raccoons in my life - one of which had this same personality -- gentle, loving, happy & fun. I always thought he was one of a kind - but here is Harbor. I always had my coon's pens done up for comfort & fun; and I spent quality time with my coons every day - including walks or pushing one up a tree where they just surveyed their domain. =) Thank you for doing what you do!

Mary Ellen - This makes me so happy to see Harbor like this!! Thanks so much for what you do. What is his status? It almost seems scary to think of him being out on his own to find food and go up against predators - seems more humane for him to continue to live this good life he has now with no worries. Thanks! :)

@theone234five6 when it rains he jumps in and out of his pond like a little kid splashing in puddles. All the other animals go in their houses and stare out at him like "Are you crazy? Go inside!" He has two wooden doghouses, a big concrete culvert thing, and a a big plastic bucket on its side, so he has plenty of shelter if he wanted to go inside.
