His "bad voting record" is this. When Bush was president, McCotter had approximately a 30 rating from the AFL-CIO. When Obama became president and President Obama had a - ahem - diffferent relationship with the unions than Bush, McCotter has gotten a rating from the AFL-CIO of approximately 7 or 8.
