the omoplata that margarida almost got at 3:56 was really cool- foot on hip control.
The choke was application was very intelligent as margarida kept gurgels hands on the ground by consistently attacking with the sweep; thus, disallowing him to defend the choke

this was a really tight choke... nice!
Ppl at this level sometimes disregard the simplest subs, for example, I recall seeing Garcia getting caught in a really sllooooow triangle...

Wow, incredible, I've never seen a cross collar choke work from guard nor has it ever worked on me.
I think the key here was Margarida's extremely deep grip and the buttefly guard that prevented Fabio from pushing up and getting distance to the tightening choke. The butterflies pushed him into the choke.
