I have one of those, and ya they're actually good. But if u want a tmobile phone, get the mytouvh 4g or samsung 2 its so cool

i prefer the phones with itunes apps on it. android store has very few good apps. itunes apps are way way better, especially the games. the only thing i like about android phones is that they have chep plans but i hope the android market will have better games soon.

@happy15551 For use in Jamaica mytouch would have been good too. But 3g service in Jamaica doesn't work with this phone there. Someone i know at work frequently goes to Haiti and Jamaica on Business and he uses the unlocked fender edition mytouch as well and i remember him telling me not once his phone calls in Jamaica went over 3g network. I guess the 3g network on mytouch and 3g network used there are different. ne way nexus s i was told isn't a bad phone from some people i know.

@MaLDJoHsimy951 Oh cool. Yeah, I decided to buy a Nexus S instead of this, and it is working fine here in Jamaica. But thank you for your comment :)

@happy15551 on video he says it's not compatible with AT&T's 3g network I guess that's because more areas an att 3g phones would be compatable with far more areas this t-mobile phone won't be even after unlocking. In same area where att 3g phone like my iphone worked over a 3g network my sister's unlocked fender edition my touch 3g did not work over 3g on a att network. But in other areas where both did work over 3g both works fine. so that's what i meant by it works fine.

@happy15551 it should work fine with any other GSM 3g networks. i had the fender edition unlocked for my sister and she is currently using it with AT&T and works fine on their 3g network.

@xmandybeautyx yes, if you are planning on surfing the web. But as long as your just going to use it as a stand alone phone and an organizer you don't need any data plans. it's same for any other smartphones.

Does This Phone Need A Web Plan?

Does anyone know if you unlock the phone, will it work for any sim card from a 3g network, or is it only compatible with t-mobile? - thanks
