How is Bettman being a jerk to Ron? I don't like either of them, but Bettman destroyed Ron in that interview. He was two steps ahead at every question, and Ron back peddled atleast three times with "you're right there Gary". Gary Bettman knows what Ron is trying to do, and he's ready for it. The fact that Ron's 'players source' was freaking 'Forbes' tells you how much credibility he has. Again, I hate both but Bettman destroyed Ron in that interview. Not once was he fazed.

@TheRevolutionCanada SERIOUSLY! It's an embarassment to the NHL! You see packed NFL, NBA, etc games and then you go to Pheonix or Atlanta and it's like a minor league game with 6 year olds. THAT embarassing. I feel bad for the players and anyone who plays in that building. It's such a shame that places in Canada or Northern US are more capable and worthy of having NHL teams aren't given any. This idiot is losing money and embarassing the NHL for the sake of his pride.

bettman is a pro at dodging questions by asking other questions, but when it comes to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, he and his team of lawyers weren't smart enough to come up with a plan to stop teams from front-loading player contracts and circumventing the draft? dumbass.

Bettman handled himself very well. Although I don't like hockey in the sunbelt, he is treated very unfairly by the Canadian press and blamed for things that are not his fault.
