North Georgia College & State University's Federal Service Language Academy is a three week summer program for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in learning a strategic language and pursuing a career with the Federal Government or US Military.
Last summer, 96 students from across the United States attended one of the two sessions held on North Georgia's campus. Over the 3 weeks students learned Arabic, Chinese, or Russian from native speaking instructors, participated in fitness training led by North Georgia Cadets, attended cultural field trips and received presentations from CIA, FBI, US Army, and Department of State recruiters. Upon completion each student earned 1 Georgia high school foreign language credit.
