AZ 7201 Gas Leak DetectorFires and explosions are the most frequent technological accidents that take place as a result of flammable gas leaks from gas pipelines, process and other household gas equipment. Even if the gas is not explosive, it can lead to poisoning and death of the maintenance personnel and civilians. That's why it is very important to prevent such accidents in the initial stages. AZ 7201 is a device that is designed to detect leaks of such gases as methane and propane. It is a gas detector with a detachable sensor on a flexible tube for increased flexibility in locations that are difficult to access. Measurements are performed in five full range levels. The internal indicators are used to signal the excess of the permissible standard equal to 35 ppm. When the device is powered on, it initiates self-diagnostics, which takes about 1 minute. When the device is ready for operation, it produces a respective sound and the READY LED goes on. To ensure accuracy of measurements, the self-diagnostics of the detector should take place in the clean air. The audio signal is used in all the operations to follow. It can however be deactivated using a switch located on the right side. The earphones slot and the power supply slot are also located on the right side of the device. The detector is powered by 4 AA batteries. The delivery set includes a convenient plastic case for storage and transportation.
