What a beautiful song---only Carlo Buti could sing it with such feeling. His voice could be as gentle as a soft, cool breeze. What a contrast with today's screeching.

My dear passalapassa. I agree your comment. The song is simply fabulous in Buti voice. You can realize that Buti sung this song in his self style, very differente from other interpretations of same song. This is clear because Buti voice was not similar to other voice. Mas ele cantou alternando emissões vibrantes com pianíssimos em diversos trechos, fazendo a canção se tornar inesquecível em sua voz. Porisso eu a coloque no YOUTUBE, presente para a posteridade.

Esta é uma das mais belas canções do repertório do Carlo Buti. É uma pena (It is a sin) que a nossa matriz estava muito judiada. Quando eu encontrar uma matriz melhor, eu substituirei a que foi aproveitada.

Carlo Buti atinge novamente o ápice da interpretação vocèlica neste clássico da música italiana.

Carlo did indeed choose the gentler approach to express his emotions in song. And rightly so. It brings tears to our eyes and joy to our hearts to glide with him through the intracacies of his sweet and lovely tones as he carries us, literally, on wings of song. There will never be another like him!
