Chris Jericho had great energy and was funny, but the Rock specialized in that. He "Rock'd the mic". Almost all of his personas had new ways of getting to his opponents through comedy. At the same time, he probably got "the people" involved in his promos more than anybody. I've never seen anyone give main eventers a run for their money the way Chris Jericho did when he was a midcarder though.
