Just because you care about the environment doesn't mean you're not allowed to shave.

@malaiseguy Haha I'd like to think so. I consider myself an enthusiast and I love the sound of a good engine, but with these tough CAFE standards and things electric cars will slowly start to catch on. I think it will be a while for them to really start making waves in the market, and I don't think the combustion engine will die in my lifetime. But electric cars can make for some quick, enthusiast-pleasing cars...

@PowerHeal I know haha. I drive a Sentra. I'm always drooling over these Mustangs with the V8s and stuff but I'm like, when am I ever going to use 412hp legally that will make up for the 20 (at best) mpg?
I just want something reasonably frugal now, but still fun to drive (looking in the hot hatch category haha)

@PantstofryPWNZ I'm 18 years old and I drive a Honda Fit.... Nobody cares what you drive. Chicks care about new cars, not speed. Lol

Do you need a DRIVERS LICENSE for driving this car? Thanks.

@minogoda Exactly. This car is getting some hate because it has a limited range. Yes, of course we'd all love to have the 300+ miles that a gas-powered car gets, but for those of us that don't travel more than 100 miles in a day, this car would work out fine. I realize many will not be able to use it solely, but they're definitely up and coming in the future.
That being said, I never want to see V8s die. I still am looking at fun, fast cars since the Leaf aint available by me yet.

@PantstofryPWNZ dude ur allready cool after this comment, i am just like u. i would love to have a bad ass car. i don't care how fast that car goes as long as its gonna save me money . what people don't understand also that this car won't have all the problems that gas powered cars have, u don't need to change oil, spark plug, oil filter, gas filter .....etc. electric vehicle requires less periodic maintenance and is more reliable, due to less moving parts.

The car does not add any to the emissions already being produced at the powerplant. Thus, it is truly zero emissions. It doesn't even have a tailpipe!

Is it wrong that I'm an 18 year old guy and I want this car? I mean, I love horsepower and all that fun driving speed blah blah, but honestly, I don't have anywhere to show that all off. I don't go to the track or anything. Of course I wouldn't be as cool as the kids in Mustangs but I save a lot of money and get a car that's smooth and a good cruiser, which is all I want, really...
