This is a canoe trip on the St. Johns River into Lake Monroe to find a shipwreck that a friend saw while crossing the I-4 bridge. It turned out that this sunken boat was a large half submerged houseboat that was abandoned in a hurry. Everything was still in the boat, although all wet.
After the sunken houseboat, I canoe under the I-4, 17-92 and CSX Railroad bridges. An Amtrak auto train passes over the bridge while I'm nearby.
is she still there i would love to know i want t visit it

That's sad with the little girl's Teddy bear and the photos. Its like that's somebody's houseboat that was stolen, then stripped of nav stuff, and then abandoned. I wonder why "united states marine corps (usmc)" is on the side with a swastica? Haha

If there were a bunch of teenagers driving a speed boat to that shipwreck, they would of proably had set it on fire and high tailed heck out of there after that.

Looks like scavengers have hit her pretty good in this video, a lot of electronics missing.

There used to be a wrecked Cabin Cruiser aground in Drs. Lake near Orange Park around 1996 or so. We boarded it from our john boat. The Hull was pretty beat up, but it looked like her engine might have still been salvageable when we looked at her.
