These could be the best looking of all Cadillacs I think, Jack, that said though, the entire '55-'58 generation could be the best looking Cadillacs ever built :)

I think they wer over $13,000 new up here when they came out when other car were in the $250- $5,000 range Very expensive for it's day.

@monarch1957 Wow! That sure is expensive...so much rivalry among the big 3 as to how exclusive their top end cars could be. I think they got in over their heads..the Continental Mark II despite its high price cost more to produce than it sold for..they lost money on each car. But what the heck..it was a competition! I believe, and it cost Ford considerably more to make them. It was really a war to see who could manufacture the most luxurious vehicle! Tri-power would be another ingredient in "can you top this?" Those were the days! Thanks! :) Jack

This is one of my favorite cars of all time. I wonder if this one still has the original liquor glass set and ladies perfume it came with new. Those items alone are rare and worth a bunch today.
