Yao shootaround in Taipei 07-27-10

Yao Ming is shown in this video in his first public practice on a basketball court since having his walking boot removed. We capture Yao as he makes his way into the facility in Taipei, gets surrounded by local media and applauded by local school children, and as makes his way back to his Taipei hotel.

@730149...I don't really see Dwight Howard as even being close to Yao. Especially, if Yao is completely 100% healthy, because Yao possesses better toughness and has the all around arsenal on the offensive end. Plus, Yao can create his own shots when the team needs a play to change or alter games. I noticed, Dwight, has to receive the ball in a spot where he always has the advantage over his defender down the stretch or he will try to force up a bad shots.

@fishbelly Actually Aaron Brooks grew into a difference maker this season and Martin has always been a difference maker stuck on a bad team in a small market. Scola can be a game changer on occasion as well, so you are looking at four game changers in the starting lineup alone. I can't wait for the season to start. On opening night against the Lakers when we drop them on their necks, the league will take notice of what to expect when they have to face us. Get your 3-D glasses ready.

they are excellent supporting casts but unable to lead the team, even Yao has hard time doing it

@fishbelly I don't know man. Aaron Brooks is the Most Improved player, averaging over 19 points and 5 assists. Kevin Martin is good for 20 points per game. Luis Scola is one of the most skillful and underrated Power Forwards in the league, he's good for 15 points and 8 rebounds a night. Ariza isn't a great scorer, but he's an excellent defender and can get a lot of steals. Battier is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, hands down. Lowry, Budinger and Hill are solid off the bench.
