  • Shawn, you always demonstrate practice swinging the arms and the club back and forth as if it should be second nature to us. We're here to learn how to swing the arms and club back and forth, simply demonstrating it and saying the arms fall isn't helping me. Can you break it down please? What are the hands, arms and wrists doing. When, where and how do they rotate for example.

  • @mebagga I have all kinds of videos for this; just type in "golf pro lesson..." then the subject like "arm motion" or "wrist hinge" or "leg and footwork"...if you get my new 5 disc dvd series, you will see everything in priority sequence with 2 different camera angles; incredibly thorough! Shawn

  • Hi Shawn,

    Thanks for your excellent videos...

incredibly intuitive and practical ... your "common sense" approach is a refreshment ... you are truly one of a kind

Question: I keep hitting fat shots, about 1-3 inches behind the ball ... when i do this drill, about 25% of my swings hit behind the ball .... any thoughts?

    thanks in advance

  • Yes of course!

I just uploaded a video today that will really help; you will like the title..."golf pro lesson the insanity of Golf" :)

    Enjoy! Shawn

  • Shawn, you are like the Einsteirn, or Sir Isaac Newton of Golf.

Five stars aren't enough for you!

  • Very humbling comment; thank you very much; but it is funny how you mention the very same guys who have helped in understanding half the equations of the golf swing! The other would be Da Vinci with his studies of the human body! I realized a long time ago how to bring them together in golf and continue to find better ways to communicate the feel of it; back to the lab! :)

  • Man, the way Shawn hits those 16 balls one after the other so crisp!! Absolutely inspiring!! Just wish I could get my swing so good, I'm a 10 handicap and been stuck there for the past 12 months :-(

  • Shawn - in the perpetual motion drill do you stay "centered", or do you use a "head behind ball" tilt. If you are centered, how does this relate to a normal swing - ie do you still recommend a tilt at address in the full swing? Thanks.

  • @muumakil yea he did, number 3 was chunky soup

  • Hi Shawn,

as I know that this is an old video and maybe you wouldn't check it again, I still have to correct you.

    You didn't miss a ball ;-)

Excellent work, thank you very much!

  • If you don't know now you know. Long story short. Been hitting poorly last two months. I watch your vids when I'm in a funk. Saturday couldn't hit the ball at all I followed the instructions in this vid Wednesday shot my best round ever. Clemens you are the real deal. I feel as if I owe you some cash. I want to buy your DVD just to support what you do. Your analogies are top notch!
