@3enjamen Yes I agree with you, its kinda stating that people want to be part of or the focus point of what they feel is important and when you have art like this which tells the extremely weathly and important people in the world that this art is also extremely wealthy and important and they purchase it merely reflects that people are the company they keep.
Other than that hes still a wanker.

@79expand-I don't know how trustworthy this is, but if it helps at all, wikipedia states the diamonds were ethically sourced :) I am by no way condoning blood diamonds at all, I'm just saying, that supposedly this isn't the case in this situation. Besides, what else are people going to do with the diamonds accept for put them in their ears or hang them round their necks. At least this way we all get to see, and appreciate, or what have you, this piece of art, even if it isn't for everyone :)
