Our Zion Township Supervisor's office has a summer work program for 14 & 15 year olds. The children have to apply for the program and be accepted for an interview. Austen was hired and was one of the highest scoring interviewees, and being one of the highest scoring interviewees he was selected by the agency Love, Inc. to work for their agency. This is the best program possible for our youth. I commend our Township Supervisor, Sheri Ditzig for fighting to keep this program for our youth. It will change their lives forever. I cannot thank the Township Supervisor's Office and these agencies who select the youth to work for their agencies enough. No words can describe what this office and these agencies do for our children. The youth learn to be more responsible, charitable, giving and learn even more how to pay it forward, give back back more to their communities and want to be more involved. What a positive life experience for our youth , and I thank you, and our youth thank you.
