  • This is pretty damn awesome, but I do have to ask... how do you plan on running games that use other controllers with that box? SNES will require six buttons; so will Sega Genesis. Playstation will need eight.

If you can figure that out, though, this would be something I'd love to have.

  • Glad you like it!

The box was build to look like a NES, which is why it only has the original 2 NES controller ports on the frontside.

Although it has a few USB ports on the backside, where you can plugin USB-joypads or Adapters and use the controllers you want, when emulating other systems! :)

  • Can I ask what kind of drive you are using. Is it hard drive, or solid state? I'm looking at doing this with a CHEAP mobo, Solid state drive, and a shuttle PC case. I currently use an old PC, but that's boring me. Thanks! Nice setup.

  • Im using a 2.5" 160gb 5400 Rpm HDD.

  • Congrats from HyperSpin. Nice video and love the NES box. We would like to know what you've done to make that. Maybe post over at the forum, thanks!

  • Thanks! - and thanks for this awesome Frontend!

I'll head over to the forum's as soon as i get a little free time! :)
