Essex, CT where Indiana Jones scene was filmed

More filming Indy IV videos at my channel. On July 5, 2007 the cast and crew of Indiana Jones IV Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull traveled to Essex, Connecticut USA to film a scene or two for the upcoming movie. This video is from the experience. I have other videos which were taken from the West Haven green and from downtown New Haven from June 28th to July 3rd 2007. Filming in Connecticut took place between June 28th and July 6th though I do not know if they actually filmed on July 6th. They scheduled extra days for weather related issues. They scrapped the Yale Bowl scene which I would have liked to have seen. The movie stars Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent, and Ray Winstone. George Lucas from Star Wars is the executive producer for the movie and is working with the Director Steven Spielberg. Music by John Williams from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom. The new trailer is out.

and there are several refererances to ufos, including the whole thing that the crystal skulls (yes they are real) were made by aliens. so did you see anything like a ufo set or what?

It started raining during the filming of the group of protesters running with signs. The pictures of the protesters and the camera crew are at 6:49 to 6:55

What amazes me here is how they were able to get so many 1950s cars to use for te filming of this movie. I can't imagine how difficult that must've been.

Great movie, I went to be entertained and was. I never saw any of the previous 3 until 1 came on TV. I wanted to see this because I heard they let Indy be human, he is. Out of practice rescue skills, gray hair, face lines, no fat, but toned muscles. Not many men Harrison's age look that good. I liked Indy's humor, the falls, photography, Shia is great, I first saw him in The Greatest Game Ever Played. I liked the prairie dogs and of course that great John Williams theme. Time well spent for me.
